Hi, guys, this is Damien Gilchrist, owner here at the DG Insurance Agency, both in Norwood, Cincinnati, as well as Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. And I wanted to shoot this video just to help, uh, really a lot of our clients understand education when it comes to e-bikes and e-bike liability. It's something that we're seeing quite often is, you know, right now it's really becoming popular where these e-bikes are, you know, going around and we're hearing horror stories where sometimes the people driving are getting hurt or also people again are doing damage to other people's property. And also, unfortunately, doing damage to other people, depending on, you know, if these people are paying attention or not on their e-bikes. So, really, I say that to say that in certain cases, your e-bike may not be covered. Uh, again, this is something that is newer to the insurance game in general, and carriers are looking into it right now, but it really is important for you to take time to go ahead and speak to your insurance agent just about what the correct coverages are and whether or not you're protected properly, uh, because again, something like not being protected properly can cost you thousands and thousands. of dollars just for something as simple as someone driving an e-bike and doing damage to property that you might not be aware of. So it's again, it's something to make sure that you either give myself or anyone on my team a call and we'll go ahead and educate you on the concerns of e-bikes, making sure that you're protected properly, or more importantly, please share this video with someone who you know who may have.
